Aspire Study Programme

< Back to all courses

Aspire is a 32 week course that helps young people discover a sense of destiny and begin to turn that into reality. Aspire runs in conjunction with East Kent College and aims to provide knowledge and skills to progress into employment or higher education.

Students complete 600 learning hours over the programme, averaging 16-18 hours a week through a range of class-based activities, work experience and workshop led discussions. We create opportunities for young people to become actively involved in their community through projects that engage with the community directly, as well as work placements, youth work opportunities and more. We have found this experience raises aspirations.

Each student is allocated a mentor who they will meet with regularly and will act as a point of contact with their course, helping to direct a students ideal path to a career.

Aspire is an accredited examination centre with the NCFE and we run all exams at the centre. If you have a D or lower in GCSE Maths or English, we will create an individual programme to help support you to achieve up to a level 1functional skills over the year. Students will undertake Level 1 in vocational studies in either construction, Childcare, Business & administration or Community & Youth and will complete academic work as well as work experience in their chosen area.

The next course starts on:
September 2018 (Taking students until November 2018)

Send us a few details and we will get in contact with you to discuss enrollment.
